Calvin decided he enjoys sleeping for 4 hours at a time throughout the night! It may just be a fluke but the last 2 nights I have had to wake him for his feedings! (The first night I woke up and saw that it had been 4 hours and I freaked out and hurried to check that he was breathing!) He is such a good baby. We have our first pediatrician appointment tomorrow. He still isn't pooping much, I give him a couple formula bottles a day and I've been pumping between feeds to get him ready for next week when I go back to clinicals. We love laying skin-to-skin with him on our chests. That is where he spends most of his time with daddy. I got a Moby wrap and I LOVE it. I wear him on my chest (he's in it now actually) and he just snuggles up and sleeps for hours. And I have both hands free to get stuff done! We have gotten so much help from everyone and really appreciate everything people are doing for us. I can't believe this first week with him flew by so fast!

Laura-
I haven't had a computer lately to post, so a very belated CONGRATULATIONS!! He is adorable :)
So funny you named him Calvin, love the name, I literally told Scott a month ago that I wished I named Ashden Calvin because I think it suits him better :)
Glad he is sleeping well for you. I can relate to the checking if he was breathing story. I hate to tell you, but that fear never goes away. Even at 27 months, if Avelyn sleeps an hour longer than usual, I am in her room making sure she is still breathing! It's almost a curse, the fear that Moms have... it never goes away.....
Looking forward too seeing you and Calvin.

Laura he's so cute. Enjoy your time with him and glad he's letting you get rest.
Laura & Korey,
Calvin is sooo cute! I look forward to meeting him in person soon. I told Mom I was waking up Jaime every four hours to feed her when she didn't wake up. Mom informed me I was training her to wake up. Let her sleep and she will wake me when she is hungry and the first night I took her advice Jaime slept from 10 to 4. Even though ,I would still awaken every 4 hrs to see if she was breathing.
Love, Diana
Enjoy the time home it does go fast.
