Bath time!

Calvin has 2 teeth! His two bottom teeth broke through last week. On Monday he started sitting up on his own. He's mastered pulling himself across the floor. Korey and I call him "Bam Bam" because he is so stinkin' strong! I feel like I am wrestling with a 2 year old when I try to change his diaper and put him in his carseat. He thinks Korey and I are hilarious, it's not hard to make him laugh and smile. I started my new job last week and it's going great. I love it and I can't wait to start labor training in March. I had a hard time getting to Indy in the 10 inches of snow we got but I made it.... We are ready for spring! We are so excited to get Calvin outside to play in the grass and take walks in the stroller.

Uh Oh...

Yes, our little man has decided at the age of 5 months to start "crawling" across the floor. He is so determined to get what he wants. He huffs and grunts and uses his arms to pull himself towards whatever he is aiming for. (Usually a remote or cell phone). He is getting too big too fast! I have a feeling we will be chasing him around in a few months...

Mmm Avocado!

Calvin started solids this week. He kept trying to take the spoon out of my hand and wanted to do it himself. He liked avocados! Next week we are trying bananas. I bought a food processor and plan on making his baby food, which I am excited about. It seems easy and after looking at the cost breakdown, we will be saving a lot of money by doing it ourselves. Hopefully he likes Mommy's cooking. : ) There is a video at the bottom of him making a sloppy avocado mess.
