I am officially 8 months pregnant - less than 8-9 weeks before baby gets here. Korey and I have been busy moving into our new apartment. It's frustrating not being able to lift boxes and help move stuff around, but it's coming together and we are both excited. I had an appointment and ultrasound last week and everything looked good. My cervix hasn't changed and they did another fetal fibronectin test which came back negative. (Negative=99% chance I won't go into labor in the next 2 weeks). I am working part time. It helps that I work on a Maternity unit... My doctor said if I start feeling contractions or anything while I'm at work, just have someone hook me up to a monitor. Ha. He seemed nervous when I told him I was moving back to Batesville, which is an hour and 20 min away from the hospital but I think it will be fine. My roommate lives on the north side of Indy and we can stay with her if anything happens or if we have any false alarms. I am getting big and don't get very many "you're so tiny for ___ weeks" anymore. Ha. I feel good besides some really bad heartburn (especially at night... I wake up every couple hours from it). Tums have become my best friend lately.
On Friday, Korey and I got 3d/4d ultrasound pictures of the baby. The baby was stubborn at first and wouldn't move into a spot where the tech could get a good picture. But after some juice and jumping around he/she finally decided to cooperate. We were so excited to see baby's chubby cheeks and fingers, and even got to see some yawns and "smiles."
