11 weeks

Well we survived the crazy snowstorm last week and I even made it to all my classes. We headed home on Sunday to watch the Superbowl with my family. We had fun, despite the terrible game. At least the commercials were good. I am really starting to grow out of my clothes. I resorted to rubberbanding my jeans last week, which is actually working out pretty well! Though most of the time sweat pants and sweatshirts are my wardrobe. I'm a little anxious to get out of the "looking like I've had too many cheeseburgers" phase. : ) The news is getting out slowly and most everyone seems to be excited. Korey is protective... He makes sure I'm eating well and taking my vitamins. It's good to have him reminding me of things since my brain seems to be a little off lately. I will try to post the ultrasound picture from week 9 soon.

My Dearest Laura and Korey ! Love and support is not even enough words to express what you have from our most amazing family-bond that God has given us as a special gift ! Even though our LOVE comes unconditionally; it is always stronger when deserved, and you BOTH deserve it ! I want to express my love and gratitude to the Rouse family members whom I have had the opportunity to speak with directly. Also, to Korey's parents, Missy and Jeff. The cool thing is...Missy, Jeff, Bryan and I are very good friends (Missy and I grew up together as teen-agers), and we have already been a combined family for many years since you and Korey started dating. Korey's little sister, Kelsey (age 18), has been a part of our family, as well ! Both sides of the family welcome little "peanut" (Our nickname until he/she is born)..and pray for a healthy, safe and most amazing experience for mom/dad/baby during Pregnancy, Delivery and for Life ! Laura and Korey - you both are such strong, focused, mature, very independent adults...not a doubt in my mind you will be the best parents in the world, strong career individuals and an awesome, loving, special couple. I love you both so much ! Stay Healthy and well rested ! Mom
