9 months

9 months old! Calvin, Daddy and I are loving this age. You are crawling and babbling like a champ, pulling yourself along everything, and you've even started standing by yourself (no attempts at steps yet!). You are still a very loving little man. You do not like to cuddle, because that would require you holding still for more than 3 seconds, but you give us kisses all the time. We don't even have to ask for them, you just open your mouth and fall into our faces. We have given up on attempting to give you a bottle. You don't want to sit or lay down to drink it. So we let you crawl around with it hanging out of your mouth and you just stop every once in awhile to take a drink. We are working on sippy cups, most of the time you are uninterested in them. Mommy has made you broccoli, asparagus, beans, mangos, carrots, peaches, and pears... You haven't refused to eat anything yet. Your newest trick? Throwing a ball! It is mommy's favorite thing. You put your little arms way above your head and grunt and that ball lands right in front of you. Sometimes you get so excited you bury your face into in and try to bite it. We are moved into our new house and I think you are liking it so far... We just need to get your new room decorated for you. "Mamamama" has been your favorite word, but you throw "dada" in there a lot too. Just a few months until you are one! Can't wait to see what tricks you come up with before then!
