Lab Work and Back to School

Today I had my second blood draw for my hormone level comparison. My hgh levels on Monday were 65,000 which were normal levels for someone 6-7 weeks. My progesterone level was 18, which was really good as well. Since I am a full-time student working very few hours a week, I am hoping to get approved for a program called Hoosier Healthwise that will cover what my primary insurance doesn't. I find out in a few weeks. That will help a lot and I can relax a little bit about finances right now and focus on all the other expenses heading my way. My prenatal vitamins alone cost me $38 for a 1 month supply (after insurance).

I started school on Monday. I'm looking forward to my Community/Public Health nursing experiences this semester, I think I will enjoy being outside of the hospital setting. I really enjoy the education side of healthcare. Korey started at IUPUI this week and is enjoying his Construction Engineering Management classes. We're both getting back into school mode.

A great and inexpensive vitamin to take while pregnant is 2 flintstone vitamins. Ask your doctor. The prenatal vitamins made me really sick, so that is what I ended up taking while I was pregnant both times and while I breastfed. A lot cheaper than prescription meds.

Best of luck!
