Florida Vacation

Well this post is long overdue but I wanted to share pictures of our vacation to Jacksonville, Florida to visit my mom! Calvin is 11 months old in these pictures and as you can see, as fun and cute as ever! : ) It was his first plane ride... and the longest 98 minutes of Mommy and Daddy's life... but we made it and had a GREAT time visiting Mom and Joe. We went on a haunted pub crawl, to the beach and pier, and to St. Augustine (which was my favorite). Korey proposed to me on the beach the first night we were there. On Thursday, Korey and Calvin flew home and I flew to New York with my mom and sisters for a girl's weekend. It was a great vacation.

Birthday Boy!

Calvin is ONE today! We can hardly believe how quickly the year has passed by. We have had SO much fun with this awesome little man. We hope to see everyone Sunday for his birthday party. I will post new pictures soon. Cal started walking this week. He started taking steps awhile ago with some encouragement, but this week he is really starting to take off on his own. He is eating big boy food and loves EVERYTHING we put in front of him. He still sleeps great throughout the night, he loves his soft "lovey" blanket. When the thumb goes in his mouth, we know its bedtime! He says "woooh!" a lot although I'm not positive he knows what is means. ; ) He is so much FUN everyday. Happy Birthday Calvin!

Korey proposed to me on the beach in Florida while we were vacationing with my family. After some serious thought, I said yes. (hehe) How amazing is the ring?! He did a great job, we are so excited to plan our wedding and get MARRIED after almost 9 years together. I went to Kleinfeld's this morning with my sisters and mom and met Randy from Say Yes to the Dress. Korey made me an appointment a few weeks ago and told me after he proposed that I was dress shopping in New York. It was the first of many fun wedding planning adventures to come...
